But Brit super car maker Ultima has set out to not only beat the Bow Tie�s time, but decimate it. The company was boasting that their GTR720 could lay down a lightning fast 6:55 on the German tarmac and even went so far as to book time at the �Ring. Unfortunately, its monsoon season in those parts�less than perfect record setting conditions. Word from Autoblog is that the car ran the �Ring anyway, but Ultima isn�t saying how well they did playing in the rain. Do we think the GTR720 can beat the ZR1? With a 2.6 second 0-60 and a top speed of 230 mph, there�s little doubt the Noble-inspired ride could give the �Vette some competition with the right monkey behind the tiller. Still, 30 seconds is a helluva long time on the �Ring.
