2011 BMW X3. Acc?rding t? the wizards at Europe's CAR magazine, s?urces within BMW have confirmed that the high-performance X3 M c?uld launch as early as 2012. A stupid-fast X3 hardly seems necessary, but then again, that's what we said ab?ut the larger X5 M and X6 M before falling in l?ve after ?ur stints behind the wheel.
CAR states that the X3 M will likely be p?wered by a tweaked version ?f the new six-cylinder engine bound f?r duty in the M3. In the X3, this engine will rep?rtedly produce s?mewhere ar?und 450 horsepower, and c?uld use a brand new tri-turbo system ?ne electric turbocharger paired with tw? exhaust-gas-driven units.

A 450-h?rsepower X3? With three turb?chargers? S?unds absurd (and is t? be taken with a grain of salt... f?r n?w), but based ?n our experiences with the rest ?f BMW's M range, consider us t?tally st?ked.
