Boxer's anyone?

A cool new RTR chassis from Slot It. Professor Motor.com is selling a chassis with the Boxer 24k ready to race. A great new product from Slot It and a cool new option for builders. And if you add up the individual prices of the parts you get in the RTR kit you actually get a nice bargain.

1/43 Proxy Race

I just got information about a 1/43 Proxy race that's going on now. I thought it would be cool to post the link here and if guys want to follow it here's the link.

The race starts in Poway California in June and it ends in Brantford Ontario in November. I love proxy racing and I hope these guys are having fun getting the cars ready to race.

Thinking Red for '06?

Want to be in the know about what Ninco is making this year? Well here you go...

And by the looks of things you better get those Denso Supra's while you can. A big thanks to "Ninco Bob" for the image.

A pair of race control towers.

The first of a pair of towers for Spider Veloce (SCI screen name) now has a top story to it. I'll get them done this week I think. I hope to start painting them maybe next week.

Wall paper & new flash website....

A cool new page of wall paper from Carrera and a great new website available at:

(yeah I know it's not exactly "news" but it's really worth a look)

GTO-EVO "CF" chassis

Some cool new carbon fiber chassis from GTO-EVO soon. They will be available in various configurations including for rally applications and will be AWD, which is very chic these days in the slot car world!

The AWD chassis looks like it should be fast. I've contacted Angel to try and get further details about US release/distribution and price.

The Scalex DBR9 looks like it's a great model. All the proportions seem to be there. The car doesn't quite have that "heavy" look the real car does, but I'm willing to exchange that for Scalex's legendary out of the box performance and excellent low average price.

I'm sure this will be one of the few cars I actually buy this year.

RAA vs. DUPR (alphabet soup racing)

My Proslot 911 GT2 will soon be winging it's way to Australia for the Down Under Proxy Race. This car is faster than my current RAA car by more than a 1/10th of a second on the ENYR. The 959 is doing well. But MrBugs is catching up fast after having missed the first race. I don't think I'll be able to hold onto the top spot for long.
