VIDEO: The Longest Car Drift Set In Mercedes C63 AMG

Mauro Cal?, test driver at Mercedes Benz, has smashed the existing world rec?rd ?f 394 meters for the l?ngest car drift, by driving a Mercedes C63 AMG sideways around the track f?r almost 8 laps.
He managed t? total a distance ?f 2,308 meters, an impressive achievement which will m?st likely seal his name in the record books f?r a l?ng time.

The place where it all happened is a c?mplete 360 degree circle ?f tarmac at the Handling Circuit at Mercedes-Benz World, Weybridge Surrey, s? it remains to be seen if the Japanese, the invent?rs of drifting are n?w feeling challenged by this record.
Andrew Mallery, C?mmercial Operations Director, Mercedes-Benz Cars said
"When Maur? appr?ached us to h?ld his record breaking attempt?n the circuit at Mercedes-Benz World we were happy t? offer him the supp?rt. He has been a valuable member of the driving experience team f?r several years and is a respected driver in the industry, s? there was no d?ubt he w?uld achieve his aim"
