Honda CR-Z Set To Le Mans Endurance Race


H?nda Performance Development divisi?n will display the CR-Z at the 24hr Le Mans endurance race. Honda will be taking this CR-Z Racer t? Le Mans but the car will n?t c?mpete in the 24hr endurance race there.
The car will be a part ?f a display put up at the hist?ric racing event called "Le Mans vers le Futur" but the CR-Z Racer will run a few demonstration laps ar?und the track.

The CR-Z Racer is a creati?n ?f Honda Performance Development, a divisi?n ?f Honda USA. It is a FWD hybrid vehicle powered by a 1.5 liter turb?charged f?ur-cylinder petrol/gasoline unit c?upled t? an electric mot?r fitted between the engine and the 6-speed manual gearb?x. The electric motor is fed juice fr?m a 7 kWh/173 v?lt lithium-ion battery. T?tal output is 200 PS (147 kW / 197 bhp) and 237 Nm (175 lb-ft) ?f torque.
The Honda Perf?rmance Development CR-Z racer did c?mpete in the 2010 Thunderhill 25 H?urs race in Napa, California in December ?f last year. Check out m?re details in our gallery
