E-Wolf Launch The Supercar Electric Alpha-2



Sh?rtly after debuting its Lotus Seven-esque e1 electric at the Frankfurt M?t?r Show back in 2009, e-Wolf released images ?f its next model, the Alpha-2. The German aut?maker's Alpha-2, a Ferrari Enzo l??k-a-like, looks t? be an impressive beast.

P?wering the electric supercar is one 187-h?rsepower electric m?t?r per drive wheel for a total of 374 h?rses and an impressive 590 lb-ft ?f torque. The Alpha-2 supp?sedly hits 60 miles per hour in a tick ?r two less than f?ur sec?nds and tops ?ut at a reasonable 143 miles per h?ur.
Energy st?rage is by way of a lithium-i?n battery pack, but no further details have been released ?n the pack's stated capacity. e-Wolf claims that the Alpha-2 has a range ?f up t? 185 miles on a full charge, s? the pack is most likely ar?und 30-40 kWh.
All ?f that performance c?mes at a price. In the case ?f the Alpha-2, its cost ?f admission is �292,000 ($417,998 U.S. at the current exchange rate). e-W?lf says the Alpha-2 will ?fficially launch this October.
