Perhaps its my bias toward sports cars, but the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Sportback is the first vehicle to hit the Paris auto show that genuinely excites me. A hatch-y spin on Mitsubishis best selling sport model, the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart Sportback is a celebration of the Lancers 35th anniversary. Easier on the wallet than the Evo yet far more badass than the Lancer Sports Sedan/Sports back, the Ralliart Sportback boasts a 2.0L MIVEC engine under the hood, producing a respectable 237-hp and 253 lb-ft of torque.
Scheduled for European release in the spring of 2009, no date has been given yet for the Ralliart Sportbacks jump across the pond, but I await its arrival with quivering anticipation [no sarcasm intended]
